THE SEMANTICS OF SPATIAL CASES IN THE KALMYK LANGUAGE

The article analyzes the study of semantics of spatial cases in the Kalmyk language. In the case system of the Kalmyk language there is a group of spatial (locative) cases: dative-local, instrumental, initial and directional. On the basis of the detailing of the orienting and motor spatial values, more specific values of case forms were identified: finding or movement inside, outside, near, on the surface, etc. relative to the landmark.
