ЧИНГИСХАН В ИСТОРИЧЕСКИХ ХРОНИКАХ БУРЯТ И КАЛМЫКОВ

Аннотация. В статье исследуется специфика образа Чингисхана в исторических сочинениях бурят и калмыков XVIII – начала ХХ вв. Установлено, что он фигурирует в различных контекстах, варьирующих в зависимости от конкретной историографической традиции и авторского замысла. Чаще всего имя Чингисхана упоминается в связи с созданием единого монгольского государства, эпоха которого выступает главной точкой отсчета этнической истории монгольских народов, опираясь на которую бурятские и калмыцкие летописцы координировали свои нарративы с общемонгольской исторической традицией. Другой важный аспект образа Чингисхана заключается в его статусе родоначальника привилегированных родов, упоминаемых в генеалогической части калмыцких хроник. В хрониках хори-бурят Чингисхан помещается в общеэтническую генеалогию, обретая родственные связи с легендарным предком хоринцев Хоридоем. К образу Чингисхана летописцы апеллируют и в других контекстах, подтверждая его значимость для исторической памяти и идентичности монгольских народов.
GENGHIS KHAN IN THE HISTORICAL CHRONICLES OF THE BURYATS AND KALMYKS

Annotation. The article examines the specifics of the image of Genghis Khan in historical works of Buryats and Kalmyks of the 18th – early 20th centuries. It has been established that he appears in various contexts, varying depending on the specific historiographic tradition and the author’s intent. Most often, the name of Genghis Khan is mentioned in connection with the creation of a unified Mongolian state, the era of which is the main starting point of the ethnic history of the Mongolian peoples, relying on which Buryat and Kalmyk chroniclers coordinated their narratives with the general Mongolian historical tradition. Another important aspect of the image of Genghis Khan is his status as the founder of privileged clans mentioned in the genealogical part of the Kalmyk chronicles. In the chronicles of the Khori-Buryats, Genghis Khan is placed in the general ethnic genealogy, acquiring family ties with the legendary ancestor of the Khori people, Khoridoy. Chroniclers also refer to the image of Genghis Khan in other contexts, confirming his significance for the historical memory and identity of the Mongolian peoples.
